Pathological Confluences

A collaborative installation by Rachel Lin Weaver and Lesley Duffield, Pathological Confluences looks at the overlap of water, community, and traditional sheep farming in New Mexico. Land use successes and failures, community myths and realities collide and fracture. The installation consists of multiple video channels, a plexiglass box, pedestals, charred sagebrush burned in a swamp fire, living invasive cattails in water, and a circle of salt.
